Since 1963, when Tim began showing and breeding dogs, Eaglehill has been synonymous with quality, healthy, purebred dogs beginning with collies and later Shetland sheepdogs and poodles.  Today, in concert with David Williams they continue this tradition with their well known family of black miniature poodles.  Now entering the seventh and eighth generations of their breeding program they are proud to offer occasional puppies for companionship, conformation and performance training.

Based on over 40 years of observation and study of the poodle breed along with an understanding of correct type and temperament, the Eaglehill family of poodles has a large following in the world of purebred dogs.  With Top Producers in every generation and multiple top producers in many generations, Eaglehill poodles have produced national specialty winners in both the U.S. and Canada as well as an Award of Merit Winner at the Poodle Club of America with the only champion shown as a special from their breeding program.   Litters are produced on a very limited basis*, often only one or two litters per year.  All breedings are planned for producing the next generation of show quality/breeding animals for continuing the Eaglehill family.   As very few litters contain more than one or two puppies meeting the criteria for being retained (though all champion litters have occurred at Eaglehill), the norm is to have only one puppy in a litter of the quality to merit incorporating into the bloodline.  Other puppies are made available for companion and performance dogs.

As performance dogs, the Eaglehill Poodles have excelled in obedience, agility, rally and flyball.  National High in Trial winners in obedience and agility have come from Eaglehill lineage and many therapy dogs, including a “seizure alert” dog have resulted from the Eaglehill breeding program.  You are invited to visit the additional tabs in this section to learn more about our dogs.
